At long last, my quest is over! I finally found a Crosman model 70 I could actually get my hands on! After years of searching, no money at the right time, too expensive, etc, etc. Then hassles with the USPS turning priority mail shipping into a 5-day white line nightmare. But boy, was it worth it! A little oil, some fresh Co2 and pellets, and it works just fine! cool. The bolt loosened up nicely, but swings rather high like the Winchester model 70\’s do. And this is one Crosman with a O-ring seal on the end of the bolt probe. Always a good thing. So follow along on this series as I go through restoring it and adding the original model 70 checkering, stain color, etc.
